Latar Belakang

Dengan semangat Hari Pendidikan Nasional 2010, dan dalam rangka penyambutan mahasiswa master pendidikan matematika internasional kerjasama Indonesia-Belanda, serta dalam mendukung usaha pemerintah untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia yang cerdas, dan berdaya saing global, Universitas Sriwijaya melalui program IMPOME akan mengadakan Seminar Nasional Pendidikan Matematika. Seminar ini diharapkan diikuti oleh mahasiswa, guru, dosen, peneliti, pengelola dan guru sekolah RSBI, praktisi dan pemerhati dalam bidang pendidikan, khususnya matematika.

Voronoi Diagram

Voronoi diagram is usually using  to make certain position of area, for example code post. With voronoi diagram, we can know where position of our code post.

Voronoi Diagram has the property that for each site or every point in the region around that site is closer to that site than to any of the other sites.

Voronoi was the first to consider the dual of this structure, where any two point sites are connected whose regions have a boundary in common. Later, Delaunay obtained the same by defining that two point sites are connected if and only if they lie on a circle whose interior contains no point of S. After him, the dual of the Voronoi diagram has been denoted Delaunay tessellation or Delaunay triangulation.

Voronoi diagram can be used for solving numerous, and surprisingly different, geometric problems. Moreover, these structures are very appealing, and a lot of research has been devoted to their study.

Lecturer from Utrecht University came to IMPoMe  classroom. They taught the central issues of mathematizing and didactizing.

The condition of activity students in classroom

Advanced stage of classroom observation that one of courses offered in International Master Program on Mathematics Education which the student are able to observe the classroom in using the realistic approach in mathematics education and make the report that the result of their observation in classroom. The students were already divided into four groups and each group has the school as their observation which has done the realistic approach in mathematics education. In SD Negeri 117 Kenten, Palembang, the observers are Denny Haris, Puri Pramudiani and Reni Wahyuni. The Observation classroom was conducted on Thursday, July 16, 2009 and this was the first classroom observation in odd semester from 2009 to 2010 years.

One of the subjects in PMRI is classroom observations and interviews students on thinking processes. The students will learn about the PMRI project. The students are observing in the classroom and the students as observer and interviewer. According directions of lecturing, the student will observe in elementary school where had been done PMRI project.
